RIFLE & PISTOL

We are part of BA Clubs and are based at the Concorde Club in Cranford near Heathrow Airport. Membership of the Rifle & Pistol section is open to both BA employees and non-BA employees on a family or associate basis.

Facilities/Benefits

There is no hire charge for the use of Club equipment. Ammunition for use in the guns is available to purchase at the Range for all members.

A ‘Guest Day’ is held most first Thursdays of the month, to enable non-section members to try out the sport – due to Home Office regulations, this is the only opportunity we have of allowing prospective members to shoot. 
Please contact section secretary to register for these events, spaces are limited and if persons do not register they may be turned away on the day.

Competitive

The activities at the Concorde Club Range fall into 3 main areas:

Small Bore .22 - Target Rifle Weds 1700 - 2000, Sat 1300 - 1700.
Gallery Rifle, both Small Bore and Centre fire Thurs 1800 - 21.00.
Gallery Rifle & Muzzle Loading Pistol (Black Powder) - Sun 1000 - 1230.

Coaching

Safety training and tuition / coaching in all aspects of the sport is supplied by our more experienced members. The section is also able to offer advice / assistance with regard to the various legislative requirements governing the sport. Certain requirements need to be satisfied for the procurement of a firearm certificate.

Cost

Our subscriptions and match fees are very competitive compared to other clubs in the West and South West London. With the option for BA Club members to join other sections or use the pay & play facilities, we offer extremely good value. Full prices and application forms available at the sports help desk.
