POKER

The event started in January 2009 and has been based at the Concorde Club in Cranford near Heathrow Airport. Participation is open to all members and non-members of BA Clubs, but you must be 18 or over and show ID if requested.

Facilites/Benefits

We have a number of poker tables available all year round. Members have access to poker chips and playing cards free of charge. Non-members are welcome to attend any of the organised events but the guest will need to comply with the Clubs guest fee policy.

Competitive Poker

Texas Holdem Poker is played regularly every Sunday from 5pm until close with £5 buy-ins (up to £10). Cash prizes are normally given out for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places depending on the number of participants. Club rules and a table of the Blind levels are available on request.

Tournaments

Club tournaments are also organised during the year, where tournament rules strictly apply.

Coaching/Learning

Tutorial literature and training poker software is available via our poker organiser whose contact details are below. Individual (or group) beginners tuition can be arranged by calling the poker organiser details below.

Costs

Our subscription rates are very competitive compared to other sports & social clubs in West and South West London. BA Clubs members can join other sections or use the pay & play facilities at an extremely good price. Once you become a BA Clubs member, from as little as £6 per month.
