Originally formed in 1965, the Speedbird Offshore Yacht Club (SOYC) has evolved from the British Airways staff yacht club.
Today we own two yachts located on the River Hamble near Southampton and an active membership of some 270 individuals from all walks of life.
SOYC offers its members cheap, if not THE cheapest, sailing in some of the UK’s most popular waters. Sailing starts at £20 a day...
We’re therefore not just affordable, but as an RYA approved training centre we also offer some of the highest quality training around…
