About the Newcastle Photography Section
Interested in photography? Would you like to improve your skills, or share your experience with other like-minded people?
The Newcastle Photography Club meets regularly on the first Tuesday every month and activities include:
- Talks and practice sessions to address specific techniques such as macro photography
- Trips to places of interest
- Members meetings - a chance to show your photographs
- Competitions
- Talks by members about famous photographers who have inspired them
- Trips to photographic galleries and exhibitions
- Interactive digital photo editing sessions
- Participation in photography based office events
- Opportunity to borrow The Club's photography equipment
It doesn't matter whether you use digital or film, an SLR or compact. The amount of photographic experience you have is unimportant and whether you are interested purely to learn or to share your experience with others makes no difference.
There is always room to improve and one of the best ways of doing this is by sharing your experiences and learning from others.
So don't be shy, come along and get snapping! Everyone is welcome.
