About

Who are we ?

We are a mixed bunch of buddies from Pilots to Engineers. We meet for training on Thursday nights at Feltham Pool 20:00 to 21:00. £1.50 admission for club members and guests. Our dive program for the year includes weekend trips that are booked in advance using Hard boats from Plymouth to Poole. Sunday and week day dives we run from our 5.5 M Rib complete with 150 HP Outboard engine, GPS, VHF Radio and Echo sounder. These dives are run usually from the South coast launching as far West as Portland. Although we are a BSAC branch, PADI divers are welcome to join our section with certain requirements.

BSAC Training

This is available for free to Section Members. Section Membership is £15.00 + £35.00 for BSAC membership. This entitles you to free training from Novice diver up to Advanced, although there is an additional £12.00 for equipment rental, if required. This entitles you to Free air (we have our own compressor up to 3000 PSI), The use of our camera equipment (one Nikonos and one Sea & sea both 35MM underwater cameras), and limited diving equipment.

P.A.D.I. training

This is available at £15.00 section membership + the arrangement fee with the P.A.D.I . instructor. and the equipment rental if required.

Snorkeling Training

This is available to BA Clubs members, This is done by invitation and you must be over 14 and accompanied by an adult (who must be responsible for their Safety while in the pool) if under16. This takes place at Feltham pool on Thursday nights as above, admission £1.50. (Bring your own equipment). and proof of BA clubs membership.

Underwater Photography and Video

Many members take underwater 35mm photographs. Yearly the section has a underwater photograph competition at the Concorde Center. Where prizes can be one for, example best overseas photographs, or best home water photographs. There is a yearly overseas competition in Malta. The Club also has 35mm Sea & Sea and Nikonos underwater photographic equipment available for rent.

Video

Some members interest are in underwater Video production.

Wreck Diving

Other members in the section are more interested in checking out Davy Joneses locker for booty that will make their fortune or sit on their mantle piece.

Seriously many members have found some very interesting arti facts from old wrecks. This includes port holes, Binnacles, Speaking tubes from German WW I wrecks in Scapa flow, and many others.
