BA 1

The team had on the whole a successful summer season.  With a small squad of six players, every player contributed in a big way with all players at different times having 'big' wins.  Mike Gregory, Mike McLaughlin, Gurbhaj Kahlon, Clive Jackson, Barry Gage and Andrew Long all ended with approx. 70% win records and each player 'helped' in most cases with off court advice between games resulting in a great team spirit during and after games.  The team appreciated the home support normally with Lincoln and Dudley being most vocal encouraging the team when needed.  Let's hope the winter season comes close to the same level of success.

BA 2

Played 10 Won 9 Lost 1
Players : Alan Boulden,     Pld 10 Won 8 Lost 2
Harry Chana,      Pld 10 Won 10
Chris Smith        Pld 10 Won 5 Lost 5
James Scannell   Pld 4 Won 3 Lost 1
John Murphy       Pld 5 Won 3 Lost 2
Dave Sparks       Pld 9 Won 6 Lost 3
Keith Newton      Pld 1 Won 1
Tom Hannon      Pld 1 Won 1

A really good season for BA2 both on court & socially. All players picked up wins at crucial times to help win matches 3-2. Congratulations to Harry who played all & won all of his matches. Chris also defied the odds on more than one occasion when winning at 3 against players who he had previously lost to. Support also remains a strong element of BA2's success with ALL players remaining at the court until the last match was played, even when the result had already been decided. With Both Alan & Harry playing at One & Two respectively we always had a chance of picking up a win. A very enjoyable season.

BA3

Our Players were Ash Battoo, Mel Williams, Jamie Waters, Dave Mitson, Dave Waters and Pat  Prunty.Reserves used : Alan Pilkington(3 games) ,Lincoln Dowe(2 games), Alex Wilson, Jaz  and  Mick McLoughlin! (one game apiece).

Bookies stopped taking bets around match 5 and offered to pay out after Match 6  as team advanced relentlessly, dropping only 2 games.
Last game of the season away to Charing Cross was a cliffhanger as we arrived with a depleted side and proceeded to double the number of games dropped all season by losing first two games before an injured Dave Waters(4) won 3-1 on one leg, Jamie Waters(3) won 3-1 after dropping the first set and Ash Battoo(1) showed gritty determination and finished strong after a very close 3-2 victory which ensured our unbeaten season.
