World Airlines Snooker Tournament

The World Airline Snooker tournament will be held in Hong Kong from 09th – 14th November 2008
Dear Members,
I am pleased to confirm that the 12th World airlines snooker tournament will take place in Hong Kong hosted by Cathay Pacific, the tournament will run from Sunday 09th November - Friday 14th November 2008. Entry to the tournament is open to any current serving British Airways staff and any retired staff who have previous played in a World Airlines tournament. If the tournament for any reason is oversubscribed, priority will be given to league players and previous World Airlines entrants.
The entry fees for the event are as follows -:
Player 4580 Hong Kong Dollars (approx £295.00)
Non-player 3820 Hong Kong Dollars (approx £246.00)
The above is based on 2 people sharing for 6 nights in a 4 star hotel including breakfast in Kowloon (check in 09th - check out 15th), it includes all transportation to and from the snooker venue and a souvenir pack, if you wish to stay any additional nights it will cost 800 Hong Kong Dollars per night.
If you wish to take part in this great event, please put you name on the notice board in the Snooker room and please send a £50.00 (non refundable) deposit (cheques made payable to British Airways Clubs) by Thursday 31st July 2008 to confirm your intent, after you have sent your deposit and the full balance will be required no later than August 31st.

If you are currently British airways serving staff, you will qualify for a free ticket to fly to Hong Kong, unfortunately if you are retired this facility is not possible and you will have to make your own arrangements. Additionally if you take part we will provide you will 2 playing shirts, please put your size of shirt with you name on the notice board.
