The BA rowing crew win at the Walton & Weybridge Regatta
The BA coxed four rowing crew gloriously won at the Walton & Weybridge Regatta on Saturday 9th June.
The BA crew of - Bowman Derek Cogswell, No2 Jim Pettitt, No3 Tony Dewilde, Strokeman Andy Wiggs and cox Jonny Pollen won a hard fought final against Eton Excelsior by 2 lengths.
In the semi final they had seen off a fancied Canford School crew by 1.5 lengths over the punishing 1000m course.
The next targetted event is Staines Regatta on saturday 28th July, though there are several, including Egham and Bedford, that might be contested in the meantime.
