The Annual Queen's Official Birthday Celebrations were recently held again this year at a formal Reception and Garden Party held at the British High Commission in Zambia's capital, Lusaka. The formal function was hosted by Alastair Harrison, The British High Commisioner for Zambia. HRH The Duke of Gloucester was present to represent Her Majesty the Queen. This was the first official visit to Zambia by a member of the British Royal Family since the Queen and Prince Phillip visited in 1979,  and the Prince of Wales in 1984
