The British Airways Pipe Band is one of the premiere Scottish Pipe Bands in England, formed originally from Exiled Pipers and Drummers from Scotland and afar.
Bringing communities of the world together has always been a part of the British Airways pipe Band....this well known and respected band travels far and wide promoting the Scottish community and of course the best in pipe music and Scottish dancing. The Band is lead by Pipe Major Iain Lochiel Raymond, who took over as Pipe Major in August 2004.
Since its formation the band have played across all five continents including visits to Armenia, Belgium, Brazil, Borneo, Columbia, Egypt, Greece, Iran, Italy, Indonesia, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Korea, Malawi, Philippines, Portugal, Spain, Uganda, USA, Uzbekistan, Venezuela and Zambia.
British Airways, recognising the Public Relations potential, uses the band in promotions in Britain and around the world.
