BA Bridge Club win ASCA tournament in Oslo

An excellent 22-8 win against Icelandair sets up the BA team for their first ASCA tournament win since 1995. Despite narrow defeats to Lufthansa and El Al the team grapped victory by a final match 21-9 victory over SAS A to leapfrog over El Al and Lufthansa who played out a 15-15 draw in their final match.
Final Standings:
1st - British Airways 86pts
2nd - Lufthansa 83pts
3rd - El Al 81pts
4th - Icelandair 73pts
5th - SAS A 65 pts
6th - SAS B 60pts *
* non competing team who took part to ensure no one had to sit out a round but had to lose each match 18-12 regardless of the real result!
