Conveyancing
This benefit covers all the legal help you may need to buy, sell or re-mortgage your home and is provided through a panel of independent solicitors in England, Wales and Scotland called The Legal Benefits Group. It is available to all BA serving and retired employees.
Employees are eligible for fixed price conveyancing for any sale or purchase of a freehold property up to a maximum value of £500,000.
Procedures have been simplified so that the legal formalities can be concluded quickly and with the minimum of fuss.

If a mortgage is involved, lender's fees legal fees of £95 are payable. Fees apply to any freehold property up to a value of £500,000. If the property is leasehold, a supplement of £150 is payable. Stamp Duty Land Tax return on a purchase: £50. If the value is above £500,000, please call for an individual quote. Fees exclude VAT and disbursements.
